First off , Happy New Year! We are very excited for 2016 as we continue to grow our beer soap business. We would like to thank our customers near and far for your continued support. Reflecting back on 2015, it was a year of chances and success for Home Brewed Soaps and me personally. I was able to leave my job in January of 2015 and it has been great for our business and our family. I am now able to spend more time with my daughter and work from home doing what I love. In anticipation of the demand for our soap wedding favors we are happy to say that we have added 2 scents to our wedding favor line. We started out with non beer scents for our wedding favors but have on many occasions gotten requests for our beer scents in wedding favor size so we have added a couple.
We added our New England IPA and our Porter & Spice.
Our New England IPA which is scented with Fir Needle, Grapefruit, Orange & Cedar wood is a wonderful, earthy, fresh scent.
Our Porter & Spice is the perfect combination of spice and dark porter. Cinnamon, cardamom and bay rum create a faintly sweet and very spicy aroma.
We also have our Lemon Vanilla and Spiced Lavender wedding scents as well. So we have 2 beer scented ones and 2 regular scented soaps.
We also just ordered a wooden soap slab cutter that will be able to accurately cut our slab of soap into logs for us to then cut into wedding soaps. This will really help us cut down on our waste and make more accurate cuts as we were cutting the logs one by one. Very excited to get this new toy!
